My past work experience in Estimating and as a Project Engineer has helped me to build good work ethics. I understand the importance of cooperation, as well as the ability to listen and follow through. My work record shows that I am dependable and responsible. I’ve come to learn through my experiences that the construction and building maintenance industry is an ongoing learning experience. One such learning experience that I recently achieved is my LEED AP certification through the USGBC. I have learned a lot through my experiences these past years and look forward to learning more. Please feel free to reach me at the number and address below regarding my resume, thank you.

Employment History
2006-2009 Construction St. Louis, MO
Project Engineer
Tarlton Corporation
My primary duties as a Project Engineer included creating solicits in Gradebeam for projects bidding, creating estimates in Timberline and Excel, and submitting bids. Once a project was awarder I would begin procurement of material, write contracts for both material suppliers and subs, form both full and three week schedules in Primavera and Suretrak, create cost books, and track profit projections using both Prolog and Viewpoint. I would work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent and owner to setup and coordinate meetings in which I would create agendas, hold meetings, and document with minutes. When a project was completed I would collect and submit closeout documents and work to reconcile and finalize contract amounts. Attached to my resume are the projects that I completed while with Tarlton Corporation, along with a letter of recommendation from my former supervisor detailing my experiences.
2004 – 2006 Construction Columbia, MO

My primary jobs were to document progress of the projects through photos and through posting addendums, change orders, requests for information, architectural supplementary instructions, and engineering supplementary instructions. I also made inspections for one year warranties and chilled water, domestic water, steam and condensate lines. While there I earned my 30 hours of OSHA training card. Attached to my resume are the projects that I assisted with at the university.
2003 Summer Construction Chesterfield, MO
Summer Intern
McBride & Son
This was an internship position that lasted through the summer of 2003. I was able to work on-site, dealing with sub-contractors, to working with home buyers. It was a great experience that taught me about scheduling of materials and employers along with being watchful of costs and over-charging. Overall it was a very useful look into residential construction practices.

Letter of Recommendation
This letter is my personal recommendation for Ryan Buchheit. Until just recently, I have
been Ryan's immediate supervisor with Tarlton Corporation. I found him to be hard
working, tackling all assignments with dedication and a professional polite attitude.
Ryan is a take-charge person who is able to present creative ideas to help problem
solve and communicate the benefits to Architects, Engineers and Owners in a clear and
precise manor. He has successfully acquired projects in which he scheduled activities,
developed contracts, produced cost books, and worked with both subcontractors and
owners for the on time and under budget completion of many different types of projects.
Though he was an asset to Tarlton as a Project Engineer, Ryan was also extraordinarily
helpful in other areas of the company. In addition to working in the background of
projects by scheduling and cost control methods, Ryan assumed a leadership role in
tool box talk meetings and owner meetings to make sure safety and quality were both
being met with high standards. Ryan also took the lead on estimating many different
types of projects, in which he had a high rate of success wining competitive bids, and
turning them into profitable projects. I found that Ryan was willing to do whatever was
needed to help the company succeed.
